Very dense but supersleek, with gorgeous boysenberry and raspberry confiture notes stitched together by melted licorice, black tea and fruitcake notes. The long finish just glides along despite its obvious weight. Shows impressive precision and balance. Drink now through 2015. 753 cases made. –JM THE WINE SPECTATOR
91 POINTS!!!
Rich, with delicious raspberry and macerated currant fruit enlivened by a strong violet aroma and a piercing mineral streak. The long, dark, juicy finish is very vivid and racy. Drink now through 2009. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 8,000 cases made.
91 POINTS!!!
Shows beautiful, subtle aromas of blackberry, strawberry and flowers, with coffee. Full and very silky, with lots of fruit and ultrafine tannins. This is balanced and reserved. Beautiful. Best after 2011. 460 cases made.
Allure, Bright pink color indicates the wine will be very festive in nature. Apricot, peach, bergamot, and mint flavors give our Pink Moscato a fresh and lively demeanor. The combination of bubbles and off-dry balance enhance the refreshment enjoyed with each sip. This is a very easy wine to drink by itself. However, its cheery nature suggests it is welcome at celebrations and where gatherings might include a variety of dishes. It should be on the table ready to serve throughout the meal, including dessert.
Amarula Cream is a South African cream liqueur made from the fruit of the Marula tree, also known as Sclerocarya birrea or "The Elephant Tree", and cream. The fruit is fermented and then distilled in copper pot-stills. The marula liquor is then stored on small oak casks for two years before it is enriched with pure marula extract and blended with fresh cream. Amarula Cream is best served chilled, on the rocks or with crushed ice. It can also be used in desserts and cocktails. An opened bottle should be stored in a cool and dark place for no more than a year.
