Damiani Cab Blend is a blend of 40% Cabernet Franc and 60% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Hand-harvested in three passes from Davis Farms on the Damiani estate. Vineyards are low-yield and are located on the south-eastern shores of Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. Grapes were fermented slowly and gently, separate of each other in stainless steel tanks, using a variety of yeast strains.
This semi-dry Riesling expresses ripe peach and Gala apple with slight lychee fruit on the nose. The palate reveals Bosc pear, starfruitand lime. The wine concludes refreshingly with a crisp, lasting, mineral-infused finish

Bright apricots, apples, peaches - theres a bushel basket of flavors and aromas in every glass. The wine is delicate, yet full and pairs wonderfully well with spicy Thai or Asian foods, as well as traditional holiday foods like baked ham or turkey. Theres dried fruit and zesty lemon on the nose, with notes of lavender, jasmine and rose petal. As you taste, the crisp acid balances nicely in a well structured wine that offers peaches, pineapple and pear in a smooth, rich, mellow finish. Slightly sweet, but barely noticeable with the fruit-forward flavors.
This beautiful dessert wine was crafted from Riesling grapes that were frozen after they were harvested, then pressed before they thawed, yielding only the sweetest, most complex juice. It was then fermented in small lots and carefully blended into this fine dessert wine.
