98 Rating from The Wine Specatator. Breathtaking in its richness and power, yet balanced against a lacy web of acidity that keeps the sticky, syrupy textures from going over the top. Flavors of apricot, baked apple, dried pineapple and tropical fruit last and last. Drink now through 2020. 100 cases made.
The initial cool minerality of the 2006 Muller-Catoir Haardter Herrenletter Riesling Spätlese is deceptive. This wine is complex, transforming to high-pitched flavors of blackberry, malt, tarragon and white peach on its vibrant, slightly sweet palate.
92 POINTS!!!
A fluid, open Riesling, with bright acidity framing apple, peach and nectarine flavors. Hints of vanilla and mineral round out the spectrum as this resonates across the palate. Builds to a nice finish. Best from 2010 through 2027. 500 cases made. –BS

93 POINTS!!!
Extremely fragrant, showing floral, pine and tropical fruit notes and perhaps a little botrytis. More like an auslese in profile, yet delicious, with fine balance and a strong mineral undercurrent. Still, it remains delicate. Drink now through 2030. 400 cases made. –BS THE WINE SPECTATOR
91 POINTS!!!
An exotic style, with apricot, papaya and passion fruit flavors. Concentrated, but a touch more acidity would add precision and length on the finish. Drink now through 2015. - B.S. THE WINE SPECTATOR
