Delicate floral notes are woven through a framework of intense aromas of yellow peach, ripe nectarine and a touch of pineapple to make an enticing package. The flavors of freshly picked peaches are combined with a hint of honeyed sweetness. The delicate balance is impressive, with the fruit flavors lingering through the crisp, clean finish.
98 Rating from The Wine Specatator. Breathtaking in its richness and power, yet balanced against a lacy web of acidity that keeps the sticky, syrupy textures from going over the top. Flavors of apricot, baked apple, dried pineapple and tropical fruit last and last. Drink now through 2020. 100 cases made.
This Cabernet Sauvignon highlights concentrated Washington State red fruit in an accessible style. It has plenty of complexity and structure, and is also very versatile with food--try it with beef, pork or pasta.
My goal with the Columbia Valley Chardonnay is to make it pleasurable and food-friendly. This bottling is a fresh, soft Chardonnay with bright, sweet, citrus fruit character and subtle spice and oak nuances. I blend Chardonnay grapes from vineyards all over the Columbia Valley to make this a complex, interesting wine. The sur lie aging gives it an appealing softness.
This complex yet approachable Merlot offers aromas and flavors of black cherry, cola, leather and spice. It’s soft and accessible with layers of complexity. I think of it as a great “everyday red with Washington style.”
Our Columbia Valley Riesling is crafted to be an inviting, refreshing, off-dry Riesling vintage after vintage. Delivering bright passion fruit and sweet lime character with subtle mineral notes, it is a pleasure to drink and easy to match with a variety of foods.
The mostly stainless steel fermentation makes this a crisp, clean, refreshing style of Sauvignon Blanc, offering fresh aromas and flavors of lemongrass, apple and melon. We add a touch of Semillon, which contributes an appealing fig character and a beautifully soft, rich quality to the wine.
