The brilliant Cabernet Sauvignon, by winemaker John Gibson, boasts a deep ruby/purple color as well as an elegant perfume of black currants, licorice, cedar, and subtle toasty oak. It is medium to full-bodied with sweet tannin, and a long, elegant finish. It should drink beautifully for 15 or more years.

Wine Advocate ReviewThe 2004 Syrah Bakers Gully, reveals rich, ripe, round, sweet cherry and blackberry aromas and flavors with notions of tar and licorice in the
background. Made in a supple, forward, precocious style, it is best drunk over the next 5-6 years.
Fantastic aromas of blackberries and tar. Lightly stemmy, which is the sign of a great young Vintage Port. Full-bodied, with wonderfully integrated tannins and a lasting finish. Lots of plums and raspberries. The new 1927? Best after 2012. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 3,000 cases made.

Blackberry and plum character. Full-bodied, velvety and balanced. Lovely velvety tannins, sweet and long. Soft-textured yet fresh and racy. A beauty. This is would be better with a little more age, but already pretty. '77/'85/'97 blind Port retrospective. Best after 2009. 10,000 cases made.
This Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied wine that is nicely layered with a velvet structure, round tannins, dense texture, and a lingering finish. The aroma is concentrated with ripe raspberry, black cherry and toasted oak followed by vanilla, mocha and hints of spice. The flavors are rich with blackberry, currant, dark chocolate and a savory component of roasted coffee and smoked meat.
Glenmorangie's "The Nectar D'Or" is finished in Sauternes casks after 12 years' bourbon cask maturation. This single malt is silky and sumptuous with aromas and flavors of vanilla, honey, lemon, baking spices, gingerbread, caramel, and fresh cream. As it is never chill-filtered, The Nectar D'Or retains every hint of complexity in bottling.
