Very pure, with a beam of raspberry coulis, blackberry and cherry pulp notes that pump out layers of spice, flint and wildflowers. Juicy yet structured, with a mineral edge to the long, savory finish. Drink now through 2015. 13,000 cases imported. –NW The Wine Spectator

Shows beautiful, subtle aromas of blackberry, strawberry and flowers, with coffee. Full and very silky, with lots of fruit and ultrafine tannins. This is balanced and reserved. Beautiful. Best after 2011. 460 cases made.
Amarula Cream is a South African cream liqueur made from the fruit of the Marula tree, also known as Sclerocarya birrea or "The Elephant Tree", and cream. The fruit is fermented and then distilled in copper pot-stills. The marula liquor is then stored on small oak casks for two years before it is enriched with pure marula extract and blended with fresh cream. Amarula Cream is best served chilled, on the rocks or with crushed ice. It can also be used in desserts and cocktails. An opened bottle should be stored in a cool and dark place for no more than a year.
Produced in the heart of the Orvieto Classico region, one of the oldest wine producing areas in Italy, with traditional local grape varietals.
The nose is very refined and elegant, with fragrant, sweet aromas. The aromas are well integrated, with harmony between the fruity and balsamic notes. The palate is consistent and elegant, from the attack, through the mid-palate to the finish. The aftertaste matches the characteristics of the aromas giving a long, pleasant finish. These are the characteristics of Guado al Tasso as it is released onto the market - a wine with great class and a high potential for ageing in bottle.
Intense red fruit aromas, especially redcurrants and raspberries, are amplified by light hints of vanilla and coffee sensations. This full-bodied wine is pleasantly lingering with soft, sweet tannins. It should be drunk while still young for full expression of the fruit.
