Robert Foley Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 750 ml

Cabernet Sauvignon at its finest, this 100% varietal combines the firm character of mountain-grown fruit with the more lush and supple fruit grown in warmer conditions at lower elevations. Flavors of ripe cherry, Logan berry and vanilla flood the palate. Our second vintage of Napa Valley Cabernet produced a more serious wine this year. The 2010 vintage offers a note of sophistication with a more rich, dark, tamed nose that’s seductive and captivating. The tannins integrate beautifully into the wine as it opens to show its nice earth and terroir components. It’s big, rich, and chewy on the palate with a long and graceful finish. (1000 cases produced)

A mouthful of red fruit; cherries, wild berries and fresh plum greet you upon tasting this year's harmonious blend of Shiraz and Cabernet. The two compliment each other seamlessly as vanilla and dark chocolate integrate with cinnamon spice and notes of mocha to form the perfect balance. Silky tannins give this enjoyable wine phenomenal length, allowing your taste buds to continue to dance long after the last sip.

David Arthur Three Acre Cabernet Sauvignon 750 ml

The 2014 vintage has great intensity with a dark ruby red color offering aromas of cassis, black raspberry followed by subtle dusty-earth tones, floral notes of violets and hints of sage blossom and tobacco. The palate is forward, yet wound up with sweet fine grain tannins on the mid palate along with flavors of roasted coffee, baked cassis and dark chocolate. Best from 2017 to 2030.

Kobalt Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 750 ml

The 2006 Kobalt Cabernet Sauvignon (92% Cabernet, 2% Petit Verdot, 4% Malbec and 2% Cabernet Franc) is similar to our 2002. The nose is a deep and enticing blend of sweet berry, coffee, accentuated with wild spices that gush out of the glass. In the mouth, layers of rich, vibrant raspberry, blueberry, and spicy vanilla notes surround assertive yet ripe tannins. Cassis and coffee notes interact with the supple tannins for a beautiful long, lingering finish. We recommend 4 – 6 years of bottle aging.

Mercury Head Cabernet Sauvignon by Orin Swift 2014 750 ml

The wine opens with a nose brimming of ripe boysenberry and cassis, complemented by hints of cigar box, fir and graphite. Full-bodied on entry, the luscious palate is full of ripe cherry and a touch of blackberry with elegant traces of sage. It closes with a satiating finish that is long and textured, supported by ample red berries and soft, dusty tannins.

Chateau Montelena Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 750 ml

Deep, saturated color is just one of the hallmarks of our Estate Cabernet, and this inky purple beauty shows great intensity all the way to the edge of the glass. The nose is loaded with rich aromas of black fruits and spices. Notes of blackberry solicit memories of hot summer afternoons while clove, allspice, vanilla, and hints of cocoa tease with thoughts of baked goodies. Emerging from these layers is a core of brandied cherries, light oak, and a hint of anise. This wine shows a smooth entry that steadily builds to a full, fleshy mid-palate, then evolves seamlessly into a rich, spicy finish that invites you back for more. The black fruits from the nose are evident throughout the palate, and are complemented by lively, red fruit characteristics brought forward by the core of bright acidity. There are loads of fine grain tannins that give mass to the wine without being aggressively astringent, hinting at the delicacy and suppleness that will come with time in the cellar.

Joseph Phelps Insignia 2008 750 ml

94 POINTS!!!
Dense and chewy, this is very tight and closed, but the glimpses of fruit offer tight mineral, crushed rock, graphite, dried currant, cedar and anise. Full-bodied and way too young to drink now, this needs time, but should provide years of rewarding drinking. Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Merlot. Best from 2014 through 2026. 16,650 cases made. –JL - THE WINE SPECTATOR
